Our center is dedicated to patient care, education for both doctors and patients, and research to find a cure. Recent advances in our understanding of the physiological processes associated with IBD are rapidly increasing the therapeutic options for patients, and we're at the forefront of studying new drugs to treat these conditions. The center's team of experts includes adult and pediatric gastroenterologists, surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, immunologists, nutritionists, psychologists, ostomy nurses and social workers. The team meets regularly to discuss cases and devise the best treatment plans. Therapy is always directed at improving our patients’ quality of life, which makes their input critically important in treatment decisions.
